The therapy internships at Hillside Wellness Center support future mental health professionals through direct clinical experience. The practicum placement program offers hands-on, supervised training to students pursuing advanced degrees in psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, and LPCC programs. MFT trainee positions are available at our Sherman Oaks location, providing a supportive learning environment where practicum students can build clinical skills, apply theoretical knowledge, and receive mentorship from experienced clinicians.

- Enrollment in a graduate program in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related mental health field.
- Ability to commit to 20-23 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Attend and engage in supervision and training as part of the practicum placement experience.

Training / Program Fee
At Hillside Wellness Center, we offer a comprehensive practicum program designed to provide high-quality training and supervision to future mental health professionals. To support the resources required for supervision, training workshops, and other learning opportunities, we charge a training fee of $100 per month for our practicum students. This fee helps ensure that our program maintains the highest standards of education, offering students access to valuable clinical experiences, expert guidance, and a collaborative learning environment. We are committed to making this investment in your professional growth both affordable and rewarding.
